October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of a disease that affects 1 in every 8 women in the United States. All over the country, companies like Antis Roofing & Waterproofing are showing their support for those affected by the disease and survivors of the disease, as well as to raise awareness of breast cancer risks, the value of screening and early detection, and treatment options available to women and men who are diagnosed with one of the many forms of breast cancer.

Antis Roofing & Waterproofing started honoring the month with good friends at Seabreeze Property Management Company, Inc. by visiting their offices in our festive pink hats! The former CEO of Seabreeze, Lisa Dale, is a breast cancer survivor, and in her honor we donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a cause Lisa is active with. Our suite at the Honda Center will be highlighting the Susan G. Komen Foundation all month, donating suite tickets for the foundation’s staff, volunteers and other stakeholders. The Susan G. Komen Foundation, founded in 1982, has transformed how the world treats and talks about breast cancer and has helped turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.

Antis Roofing & Waterproofing employees support Breast Cancer Awareness month by sporting pink, which has long been the official color of the movement, across the company for the entire month of October! The Antis sales and marketing teams will be wearing pink while visiting customers and giving away our pink hats, and our techs will be in the field in pink hats all month to show their support.
