The Safety Manager oversees all aspects of employee accidents, customer incidents, and safety-related issues and concerns for the organization. This position supports and develops policies, procedures, and programs that create a strong culture of safety at every level in the organization as well as the outcome Worker’s Compensation Claims and policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

• Demonstrated experience in occupational safety methods, standards, and practices
• 10 or more years experience in leadership in safety with at least 3 of those years in construction preferably residential roofing
• Must have experience on sloped roofs (tile, shingle) and the ability to climb ladders, inspect and train on sloped roof systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels in
• organization
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and
• strategy
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations regarding safety and
• health in the workplace and related topics
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
• Experience developing Safety Programs in a multi-site environment
• Demonstrate quality work and attention to detail 
• Must have excellent training and presentation skills in small to large group settings in both English and Spanish. 
• Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team working to achieve company initiatives. 
• Must be able to write detailed and summary reports. 
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving company vehicles
